Suffering Character List
(If you have suggestions on formatting or something I missed, please tell me. I did a bare minimum so I could focus on writing the story. Random factoids and other details can occasionally be found here.)

Humans 
Senna (Galstyan) – A slave girl with pure snow white hair forced to suffer atrocities under her Master Rimmer. Her outer appearance is very sleek and beautiful like a porcelain doll, but underneath her clothing are layers upon layers of scars and branding revealing the pain she suffered from.
On pure good will and concern, she saved the injured Ariel at her own expense. Ripped away from her torturous lifestyle by Ariel, she’s given a chance to live a whole new life. With her past and her family erased by her former master, she decides to try and make the most of her new life. However, the scars of her past run far deeper than even she realizes.
  • Introduced in Prologue 2
Rimmer – A cruel, obese man that treats women as objects. He is unable to enjoy himself unless he physical harms the women in his grasp. Senna is his current object of desire. He arranged for her to be scorned by the other servants in the mansion increasing her suffering and his enjoyment. It would not be an exaggeration to say he built her exactly to his tastes.

Anahid Galstyan – Blonde hair, brown eyes. Step-sister to Senna. The best thief class adventurer in the <Pact of Ambition> and <Timberharbor>. She does her best to help others when they’re in trouble. When she meets Senna, she instinctively worries about her. As she gets to know Senna that worry multiplies until she forcefully accepts Senna into the family with the help of her mother. She pulls Senna into her clan to watch over and protect her. Childhood friend and older sister figure to Davor, while also holding an unrequited love for him. Her belief that Davor views her as nothing more than an annoying sibling prevents her from taking another step in changing their relationship.

Maria Sibrian – A receptionist at the Adventurer’s Guild. Friends with Senna and acquainted with most members of the <Pact of Ambition>. A bit tomboyish and dislikes dressing in frilly clothing. She has few female friends that she is openly friendly with. She worries about Senna’s safety because of all the dangers she somehow seems to encounter.

Russell Galstyan – Blonde haired male. Experienced A ranked adventurer, father of Anahid and married to Leah. He is a caring person that works hard for his family. He was outraged to hear about Senna’s past and readily accepted her into the family.
  • Introduced in Chapter 3
Leah Galstyan – Brown haired female. Mother to Anahid and wife of Russell. A former B ranked adventurer, but retired to be a housewife. She knew <Light Magic> up to the Intermediate rank and is one of the more skilled magicians in town. She is a caring person that readily accepted Senna into the family. She loves to dress young girls in cute clothing and often gets too passionate in the process.

Davor – One of the best shield bearing knights in the <Pact of Ambition>. He normally wears a full set of metal armor on his missions to protect his comrades. Acquired the nickname <Iron Wall> for his powerful defense. Good friend of Bernard and Rache, childhood friend of Anahid. He treats Anahid like his big sister, a presence that has always been around in his life nagging at him. He developed a crush on Senna when he first laid eyes on her.

Isabelle – A friend of Leah’s and owns a clothing shop.

Arnost Sayre – One of the best Apothecaries in <Timberharbor>. Known for being a grouchy man that hates healing magic. He takes Senna in as an apprentice when she displays a rare mindset in understanding the importance of Apothecaries and not relying on Healing magic for everything.
  • Introduced in Chapter 5
Claus Windfield – A merchant that owns the <Windfield Company>. They specialize in sea trade with the Lios Continent, but also has some branches in the towns near <Timberharbor>.
  • Introduced in Chapter 5
Bernard Truelsen – The leader of the <Pact of Ambition>. An A ranked Adventurer that often charges into the fray. With his Berserker-like fighting style, he cleaves his way to victory. As a result, he often worries his childhood friend and wife, Rache. Son of Vermer, the Guildmaster for Timberharbor’s Adventurer Guild.

Rache Truelsen – The Strongest magician in the <Pact of Ambition>, specializing in <Wind Magic>. She is shy and a bit taciturn, but becomes extremely talkative in aspects of magic. Wife and childhood friend of Bernard.

Vermer Truelsen – Timberharbor Adventurer’s Guild, Guildmaster. A former S ranked adventurer that protects the town from major disaster.
  • Introduced in Chapter 11
Red Cloak Male – A human with black hair and a large red cloak covering the body. Uses <Dark Magic> to transform into an Ogre. He was enraged when he found that the goblin village that he arduously trained was wiped out.  He threatened to wipe out <Timberharbor> after causing a commotion in one of the largest bars in town and escaping.

Dassler – Owner of the restaurant that Senna worked in. After hiring Senna, he no longer felt the need to assist in the restaurant leaving everything up to her. In his spare time, he goes drinking and spending his earnings in the casino. He occasionally returns to the restaurant to pick up his profits before leaving again to spend his newly earned money.

Eva – Younger sister of Eve. An emotional girl that says what she thinks. She works at the Restaurant alongside Senna and Eve. She is unable to find better places of employment because of her inexperience forcing her to work in the more dangerous part of town. She hates Dassler for under paying the three of them and for abandoning work to go play.

Eve – Older sister of Eva. A cool headed girl that does her best to watch over her younger sister. She works at the Restaurant alongside Senna and Eve. She is unable to find better places of employment because of her inexperience forcing her to work in the more dangerous part of town. She equally hates Dassler for his lack of assistance.
  • Introduced in Chapter 14
Ellen – A co-worker and friend of Senna. She helps in the Restaurant as a waitress on one of the busiest days. She fears Senna from hearing about Senna’s accomplishments.

Innar Eves - A narcissistic fallen noble and novice swordsman that considers himself the best fighter in town. Has blonde hair and generally wears gaudy material. He expects women to throw themselves on the ground and spread their legs in his presence. When Senna is recruited to the group, he shows obvious anger at the lack of attention. He tries to take advantage of her body multiple times, but is forced to back off when he prioritizes the safety of his lower body.

Kristel Eves – Younger sister of Innar Eves. She is in love with her big brother and dotes on him. She was extremely happy to have her first time taken by her brother. She recruits Senna to help them explore a ‘dungeon’ they found in hopes of finding riches.

Oller Turner – Friend of Innar and Kristel. He is very quiet and lets Innar do the talking. As a result, he frequently needs to bail Innar out when Innar causes trouble. He is in love with Helen Dean, but is too shy to confess his feelings.

Helen Dean – Friends with Oller and Kristel, but hates Innar. She suffers from a large debt after her father abandoned her and her mother. She works hard to attempt to pay back the debt, but is getting increasingly desperate as time passes. She gambles on finding riches in the ‘dungeon’ and paying off her family’s debt.

Ritsuko – Mistress and head of the mansion when her lover, Rimmer, is away. She hates Senna for looking more beautiful than her. However, she tolerates Senna’s presence because Senna is forced to suffer from Rimmer’s sadistic tendencies while she remains undamaged. She experiences great joy at the occasional torture where she can see Senna’s marred body and humiliate Senna at the same time.

Mr. Eves – Father of Innar and Kristel. A man strict on himself and works hard to provide for his family. He and his wife had an inkling of their children’s raucous behavior, but had not realized the extend until Senna revealed it to them.

Mrs. Eves – Mother of Innar and Kristel. A kind woman that is haggard from working day in and day out trying to help make ends meet for their family.

Angels 
Archangel Ariel – Daughter of the Goddess of Creation Remilia. Fought against Demon Lord Zaemezahr and was forced to retreat. Because her teleportation spell went awry, she was forcibly teleported to Earth where she met Senna. She is extremely grateful to Senna for her help and constantly worried about Senna’s wellbeing.

Goddess of Creation, Remilia – She created the world of Remia. Early civilization interpreted her name incorrectly, naming the world Remia. By the time she realized the name had cemented itself, and it was too late to correct them. Mother to Ariel and the other Angels.
  • Introduced in Prologue 3
Cherubim Sabrael – A Cherubim class angel two steps below the Goddess Remilia and one of her subordinates.  She is a kind aunt to Ariel and occasionally helps her.

Demons 
Demon Lord Zaemezahr – Lord of a castle in the middle of a wasteland. He fought against Ariel successfully repelling her, but was unable to deal the final blow to her.
  • Introduced in Prologue 1
Duke Pazra – A devil with a Duke rank. He rules and oversees his territory. He despises the Angel race because of the bloody feud between angels and devils. Orders Viscount Mater to investigate the influx of Light Magic in the Lios Continent.
  • Introduced in Chapter 12
Viscount Mater Ro – A prideful devil that wishes to swiftly rise in rank to rule over lower ranked devils. Ordered to investigate the recent influx in Light Magic. Hopes to steal Duke Pazra’s position. Like many demons, he considers humans to be trash not worth his attention.
  • Introduced in Chapter 12
Gulver Zir - He works as an aide for Mater and frequently deals with the paperwork and logistics of the Ro home. His strength surpasses Mater and is considered the hidden expert of the Ro home. (Not that any of the guards or servants realize it at first.)

Monsters 
Watson – A specter that works as a butler for Baron Thorn. Extremely strict with cleaning.
  • Introduced in Chapter 19
Baron Thorn – A Skeleton Baron that lives in the dungeon that Innar’s group leads Senna towards. He dedicates himself to the Lich king, Aran Rindal. He deals with managing his territory rather than improve his strength.
  • Introduced in Chapter 19
Mortimer – A Revenant (higher class Specter) that acts as a powerful assassin for the Lich King, Aran Rindal. Very hotheaded.

Natalia Cernea – A Vampire Queen that leads her kin in following the Lich King, Aran Rindal. She hopes to become Aran’s lover.

Aran Rindal – A Lich King that has a large following of undead creatures. He is quite easy going and enjoys the arts and examining interesting material that catches his eye.

Elementals  ↑
Definition – Collections of magic representing each element and controlling their respective element in the world of Remia. All elementals are siblings to one another. They rarely show themselves to living organisms.

Tempest – Wind Elemental. Adult female form. Takes Senna’s blood as an offering and provides her with a blessing.
  • Introduced in Chapter 13
Quartz – Earth Elemental, male. Typically appears in a rocky, golem like form. Like to irritate others and enjoy their irritated reaction. He created vines to grope Senna, but was sorely disappointed in her lack of indignation.
  • Introduced in Chapter 13
Aqua – Water Elemental, female. Reveals herself in an aqueous form. She has a laid back personality. She used her control of water to grope every inch of Senna’s body before bestowing her blessing on Senna.
  • Mentioned in Chapter 13. Introduced in Chapter 15
Sol – Light Elemental, female. She healed all of the scars on Senna’s body causing Senna to have a mental breakdown. Enjoying the reaction, she forcefully raped Senna enjoying the taste of her body.

Umbra – Dark Elemental, male. Has a body made of black smog. He quickly becomes angry when he is compared to his older siblings. His relationship with his sister, Sol, is strained because of the negative view humans have about his element. In contrast, Sol is highly strengthened because of the Church’s proselytism of <Light Magic>.
